Why you should attend?
- Learning: As an attendee you will learn about real world solutions to the most challenging issues in modern day urban planning and development. This includes presentations by industry experts including United Nations officials, international city officials and business leaders who specialize in related fields.
-Networking: Attendees universally place a very high value on the networking opportunities made possible at the GMF. In one location, you can exchange ideas with colleagues, build relationships with business leaders, catch up on the latest trends with scholars and share the virtues of your city or organization with the press.
-Exchanging: How does a city with a population larger than the countries of Australia and Canada manage public transit? This is an issue for which Chinese city officials are already finding solutions. The scope of the GMF 2012 allows for an extensive range of topics to be addressed. Even if your administrative district is larger than 75% of countries in the world, you will find others researching or solving the challenges you are currently facing.
Who will attend?
Those in attendance will include industry experts in the field of modern and ecologically sound development. Stakeholders participating in the 2012 GMF include United Nations officials, urban developers, R&D firms, international media correspondents, entrepreneurs and trade organization representatives. We are adding new attendees daily as an increasing number of people, cites, corporations and governments embrace and implement the best practices of the fast paced 21st century.
